I'm a Halifax, Nova Scotia based photographer who feels most at home outside wandering through the woods, standing in a river with a fly rod or watching the the last light fade over the Atlantic. Nature has always been my reset button and my greatest source of inspiration and that connection shapes how I see and photograph the world.
My love for photography started early, when my dad handed me my first SLR camera. That gift set me on a path I've been following ever since. After completing photography and digital imaging programs in college, I began my professional journey in 2000 and I've been telling stories with light, landscape and people ever since.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll usually find me camping, hiking, 4-wheeling backroads, chasing sunsets and starry skies, travelling to new places, enjoying a margarita or catching live music. Conservation and a deep respect for nature are values that run through both my art and my life.
I'm also a proud mom of two grown kids who were raised on road trips, muddy boots and a mom always stopping for "just one more photo."
At the heart of it, photography for me is about connection to people, nature and to those moments that make you feel something long after they're gone.
